1. Procedure for accepting applications
1.1 Applications will be accepted from February 5 till March 15 at 6:00 PM,
1.2 Only legal entities can submit applications,
1.3 Applications are accepted on a competitive basis,
1.4 Applications are accepted via the online application submission method through the Foundation’s website. Applications received in any other way will be considered invalid and will not participate in the grant program tender.
2. Mandatory conditions
2.1 The project is aimed at the development of one or more of the following socio-economic, educational and scientific, health and cultural sectors,
2.2 The project will be implemented exclusively in the territory of the Republic of Armenia,
2.3 The project will be implemented by a legal entity,
2.4 The implementation of the project must be safe for the environment and society,
2.5 The project is aimed not at satisfying the personal interests of an individual, but at creating new opportunities for broad groups of society,
2.6 The effectiveness of the project must be long-term, with a useful life of at least two years.
2.7 The project must have a clear and realistic action plan and schedule. Detailed information on the implementation of the project is provided.
2.8 The grant does not include the payment of salaries and other current, administrative, as well as repair and reconstruction costs.
2.9 If the project is not fully funded by the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation, its full funding must be guaranteed by the co-financiers.
3. During the selection of the project, the Foundation will give preference to those projects that meet one or more of the following conditions at the same time:
3.1 The project is aimed at strengthening Armenian-French ties,
3.2 The project promotes the creation of new jobs,
3.3 Local production and raw materials are used during the implementation of the project,
3.4 The project offers an innovative solution,
3.5 The applicant as a legal entity has been actively operating for at least the last two years.
4. Selection Procedure
4.1 The Tender is held and the winners are selected in 3 stages,
- First stage – review of submitted applications and preliminary selection by a committee formed by the Foundation,
- Second stage – Interviewing of applicants selected in the first stage,
- Third stage – Selection of winners from those who passed the second stage by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
4.2 In case of submission of narrowly specialized projects, a review (verification) of the project may be conducted at any stage of the Tender on the initiative of the Foundation (or a committee formed by the Foundation).
4.3 Additional documents may be required from participants at any stage of the Tender,
4.4 After the end of each stage, participants will be informed about the results in writing or orally.
5. Funding
5.1 The maximum amount of a single grant is AMD 5,000,000 (five million),
5.2 The grant does not include the payment of salaries and other current, administrative, as well as repair and reconstruction expenses,
5.3 If the project is not fully financed by the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation, its full financing must be guaranteed by the co-financiers.
6. Monitoring
6.1 In order to ensure the continuity and uninterrupted operation of the project, the Foundation has the right to periodically monitor the intended use of the donated grant.
The results of the Tender will be published in May of this year.
