A TECHNICALLY-EQUIPPED FRENCH CLASS WAS ESTABLISHED IN GYUMRI

The classroom created in cooperation with the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation and the “Sustainable Development Foundation” is equipped with all the multimedia capabilities to organize interactive lessons. Students will learn French through new methods - games, songs and movies.

“The necessary equipment, projector, computer, TV, double-sided blackboard have been acquired for this program… In short, every necessary item to make the lesson process even more interesting and we believe that this classroom will serve the present and future generations for many years,” noted Anna Gishyan, the Director of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation.

“With this program we contribute to the spread of Francophonie in Armenia and the strengthening of the Armenian-French friendship. “We have already established 5 such classrooms in different regions with the “Stepan Gishyan” Foundation so as to make French language teaching more effective,” said Alen Tuhadyan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sustainable Development Foundation.

“We organize interactive lessons – watching, discussing a movie and we are able to improve the French more effectively by watching, listening, speaking,” says French teacher Siranush Vardparonyan.

The “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation was founded by ACBA Bank, French Credit Agricole, Credit Agricole, Credit Agricole National Federation and the Gishyan Family. The Foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening the Armenian-French relations, improving and perfecting the socio-economic, scientific-educational, cultural and healthcare systems of Armenia.
