In Goris school No. 2, children are already taking French lessons in a technically equipped and furnished classroom.
The French language classroom was fully furnished and technically equipped by the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation in conjunction with the “Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development”. The furnishing of the classroom allows to hold more effective courses for about 350 students.
“The program is very welcome, because the place of implementation is the school itself, where we have quite a large number of beneficiaries. We know that French is more difficult for children, and in such a classroom, children seem to learn important language skills more easily. At the moment, the children have achieved quite good results,” said Anna Gishyan, Director of the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation.
“Our goal is to help develop the French language in Armenia. I must mention that in schools with equipped French language classrooms with our support, French is at a very high level, I am impressed. There are even children who have never left Armenia, but speak French very well,” said Alen Tuhadyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the “Fund for Sustainable Development”.
This classroom is the 9th classroom fully furnished and technically re-equipped by the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation and the “Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development”.
“Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation was created by Acba Bank, French Credit Agricole, Credit Agricole National Federation and Stepan Gishyan’s Family. The Foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening Armenian-French ties, improving and perfecting Armenia’s socio-economic, scientific-educational, cultural and healthcare systems.
